for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Riley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Riley's Story...
About 13 years old. Completely housebroken. Very obedient and loyal. Has had some obedience classes, knows sit, down and shake. Can be around some other dogs. This is an older gentleman of a dog that really needs a home. He has lived in a shelter environment for 2 years and with his age he should really be in a home with love to spend out his last years. I would hate to see him live in a shelter until he passes away. He can be protective. He likes walks. With his age I would say older kids would be fine. He could live with another dog possibly. I'm not quite sure about cats. Please take a double look at Mr. Riley and see if someone can't give him a home for the next years of his life. Would consider a permanent foster home for him also where I pay all his medical costs. He has been healthy in my program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Omaha Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Omaha, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Omaha.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Omaha already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Omaha breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Omaha paves the way for another one to be saved.
