Pogo's Story...

Pogo, female boxer needs GOOD home. She is VERY loving and devoted but wants to share her special heart only with her people so needs to be only dog.

Pogo is about 11 1/2 years old. She is spayed and current on all her shots. She was rescued from the animal shelter about 6 months ago brought in as a stray. Pogo is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She LOVES people more than anyone can imagine, likes to give hugs, sits for treats and shakes paws. Her caring rescurers do not want to loose her nor take her back to the pound but both work and cannot be home to teach her companionship with her new playmate. Pogo shows them she was raised as the only pet and shares her heart so completely with her family!

To meet Pogo, please contact Nicholas at 661-992-6205 after 5pm M-F or anytime on weekends. Or Nikki at 530-604-8895???.or Anita at 373-2963, 661-400-2938?..PLEASE leave a message if there is no answer! We really need to find her a GOOD home ASAP??. We DO NOT WANT TO return her to the shelter since it is obvious she shares her commited devotion completely raised and loved trained as the only pet by her previous family and we want to help her find that love again for her lifetime!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pogo, a California City Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in California City, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in California City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in California City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a California City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in California City paves the way for another one to be saved.
