Bobby and Basil have been together for 5 years. They are bonded and must be adopted together.

Bobby is approx 5 years old. He is sweet and likes a light scratch on his head, he will turn to bite your finger but I feel it more of a game to him then to hurt you. He will not step up and is very frightened when anyone opens his cage, but his foster mom thinks with time he can be handled. Bobby does not scream and does not talk, however, he does make noises such as fire alarm battery signal, cockatiel calls, and some whistles. Bobby is a "shredder" but does not completely pluck his feathers. He enjoys company and will do best in a room where people gather but needs a covered/quiet corner so he can get away when he wants to.

Basil is approx 10 years old. He is also sweet and likes his beek and head scratched. Basil has a great vocabulary and the sweetest voice! Some of the things he says are: Hi, Hello, How are you, Peek a Boo, I See You, You have Pretty Toes, Oh Whatever, and many more. He also makes whistle noises, wild bird calls, cockatiel calls, the fire alarm battery signal, and owl sounds. When he is not talking or whistling he is very quiet. Basil is in full feather and is an easy keeper. He too will not step up, but again I believe with time and patience he will. Basil now will hold my finger and rub his beek on it through the cage but panics when his cage is open.

Basil does have an injury to one of his wings and is currently on medical hold, but we will gladly accept applications for this pair and once the veterinarian clears them, they can then be adopted out.
