Chisos (TRD foster)'s Story...
Chisos and his 7 siblings (and their Mom - a full Thai ridgeback) are currently living in a foster home in California until he's ready to be adopted. Chisos is one of the more independent and laid-back boys. He tends to stick around his brother, Kitimat who has a similar energy level. Chisos is an affectionate pup, but not too forward about getting attention. Interested in learning more about this handsome boy? Please contact rescue@trdusa.org. Chisos will be ready for adoption in September - 11 weeks old September 2, 2010. He will be neutered, up to date on puppy vaccines and microchipped. http://www.trdrescue.org/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chisos (TRD foster), a Santa Rosa Thai Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Thai Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Thai Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Thai Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Thai Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
