Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marley (aka Journey) is a female, Collie, about 3 years old. She is friendly and likes attention. She came to the shelter covered with matted hair and dragging her hind leg. She has been groomed and diagnosed with an old break at the hock which was apparently not cared for at the time. The break has healed, however, she does not have full use of the limb. Marley will need a special guardian who is willing to take care of her special needs. She does get around okay. Your vet would need to be consulted to get input on the options available for future. This sweet dog has had a rough life so far. If you are interested in helping out this special need Collie, please call today. Use ID# 7-30-9. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central. If unable to get through to staff during public hours, please keep calling until contact is made. If calling after hours, please, leave a message on the answering machine. We will return calls, if you leave your name and number. Thank you.
