Montana's Story...
"Montana" is a delightful fun-loving boy. He is quite handsome in his white coat and friendly face. He has a sturdy look to him. He is looking for an owner who he can hang out with and probably go jogging with. He has already been neutered, so he is ready to go to his lucky new family. He's young, just about 2. His Dog Walker says: We had a nice walk today, and although he has a strong lead, he is fun to walk. This good natured boy will adapt to most situations with a little training. He appears level-headed and trustworthy and will be a shining light for a loving new home. So come on in and ask to visit with him in our Doggie Play Yard. Kennel # 6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Montana, a El Cajon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
