My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George, a very handsome 4 yr old blue merle male. George is a very nice boy, he came to us heartworm positive, full of hook worms, and has two ear infections. He was so full of burs it took me two hours to get most of them out. He let me do whatever was needed without a word, I even trimmed his nails and feet without any problems. He met my dogs and was fine. He is crate and house trained and a big goofy lovable lug!

George was pulled from a shelter, he was just too nice of a guy to be put down (shelter wanted to put him down due to his heartworms). He was such a good boy at the kennel (he was boarded for 5 days), he kept it clean and pottied when taken outside.

George has been neutered, treated for hookworms and his ear infections and is undergoing heartworm treatment. He'll be ready for adoption around the middle of June. His vet bills are going to be pretty high so donations for his care would be happily accepted. Please sponsor George, he is well worth the few dollars you can spare!
