Princess is an adorable little fawn colored Spaniel mix. She is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. Princess is a special little girl that only has 3 legs and is looking for a new loving family to call her own.
Sweet little Princess belonged to a man who became homeless and was living out of his car with her. One day when he let her out , she was hit by a car and had her leg broken. He did not have the money to treat her and her injury went untreated for weeks until her new foster mom heard what happened. She convinced the owner that he needed to surrender the dog to her so that she could get the medical care she needed and be allowed to find a family that could love and care for her the way she needed and he agreed. Princess had to have her leg amputated because of the severity of the injury, but is has not changed her one bit....she is still a really great dog with lots of love to give and wants nothing more than to get love in return.
She is such a sweet and playful little girl with with a very affectionate personality. She gets along great with other dogs and cats and is also crate trained, but does do well when not in a crate too. She has a playful side to her and loves to play in water, but also has a very mellow sweet side to her and is happiest when snuggled up on the couch with her foster mom.
