Keizer's Info...

I am purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Keizer's Story...
I am a true 'Gentle Giant' and that is about the only thing I am sure of. Such a fragile, timid guy I am. I haven't got much confidence at all. But what do you expect, I am not feeling too secure now a days. I used to be a 'stud' dog, not the best life but believe me I enjoyed the job! But then I got too old and they found someone younger. I was passed on to another family who was only able to love me for 5 months before they had to give me up to the sheler. Now I am here, and feeling quite alone. I am very eager to find a new place to call home. I am used to being only an outside dog, so I am not housebroken. I love children, all children and I am great with other pets. I am just a big old slobbery guy with a whole lot of love to share. 7 years old-200lbs. My adoption fee is $150 and includes adoption supplies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keizer, a Portland English Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Mastiff for sale in Portland, or seeking a English Mastiff dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Mastiff breeders who help with English Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
