Harley's Story...
“My sister and I once had a great home, and life was so sweet! Then suddenly our mom moved overseas and had to leave us behind. She found a temporary place for us, but we can't stay for long. We've been told that another family will come along and love us as much as our mom did. Could that be you?”

“We're ready to find a new family, and we promise to make you happy! Chill out with us for stress relief, and be entertained when we get playful! We're well-rounded and outgoing with everyone – even your friends and visitors will love us. If you have a cat-friendly dog, that's okay. Kids are fine also, as long as they treat us well. We're life partners, so we need a family with enough love for the two of us."

Harley and Samantha have been together since they were baby kittens, fostered through our rescue group. They are approx. 6 years of age.

If you can give Harley and his sister a wonderful home, please send an email with your name, phone number, and a little about yourself, other pets, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Austin Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Austin, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
