Miriam's Info...

I am purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Miriam's Story...
This beautiful little girl is Miriam. She is a purebred Australian Shepherd that was born on 06/02/10. Her momma Anna came to us well advanced in her pregnancy, giving birth to four beautiful puppies. The puppies are all healthy, but due to the merle to merle breeding, they all have special needs. Miriam is DEAF, but it appears that she has excellent vision.

Miriam is already using a doggie door .....but, she still needs to go out with her person. She loves to romp and play ball and tug with her sisters and brother. Miriam thinks she needs to be involved with everything that you do. She is smart, sweet and VERY alert.

Miriam has the potential to be a great agility dog. She is trusting and not afraid of anything. She watches your every move...waiting to know what you want her to do. She will jump right at you as if to say..catch me. Sit on the floor and she will crawl up on your lap, she is a real snuggle bunny.......or walk around.. and she will follow you. All of the puppies are velcro dogs as Aussies are known to be.

Miriam's vaccines are up to date, she will be spayed and micro chipped when age appropriate. Miriam looks so much like her appears that she will be a medium size dog around 45-50 pounds when grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miriam, a Mesa Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
