Lizzie's Story...
LILA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! Lila and Lizzie are 4 month old female Black & Tan Coonhound/Shepherd mixes. They were abandoned on a busy Farm-to-Market country road in extreme heat, with no food and no water. When they were found, awash in fleas and ticks, tapeworms and ear mites, it appeared that they were faithfully awaiting the return of the person who had abandoned them....the person who NEVER LOOKED BACK! Lizzie is still looking for her loving permanent home. She would make a wonderful hunting companion for an avid outdoorsman and would do beautifully as a family pet. She is an active, affectionate little girl who loves the company of people and other dogs. Please give Lizzie, the remaining abandoned pup, a place in your nest. Lizzie is the one chilling out in the water-filled blue bucket.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzie, a Fairfield Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Fairfield, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Fairfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
