Kiwi's Story...
Kiwi is a darling little diva of a girl, who knows what she likes and what she doesn't like. For example, she loves to be picked up and held by her foster mom. Kiwi gives kisses and loves to cuddle. What she isn't fond of is sharing her foster mom's attention with other dogs. This little 6-1/2 lb. beauty is not at all shy about "discussing" her displeasure with the other dogs. Kiwi is also not fond of young children. She is so tiny and so delicate, they frighten her. Kiwi tends to let young kids know in the same manner that she lets dogs know that she is not not pleased with them. To ensure that everyone is happy and content, Kiwi would do best in a calm, adult household. She will tolerate cats, as long as they are independent and don't want Kiwi to interact with them. Kiwi wants to bask in her person's attention and that's about it. This pint-sized beauty is about 3 years old and has a solid black, semi-coarse, wavy coat. Her face and eyes are all Chihuahua. She is a real cutie and, for the right home environment, you couldn't ask for a better or more devoted little companion dog. Kiwi isn't a barker. She has a very calm demeanor indoors and seems to be housetrained. She likes to follow her foster mom around the house from room to room. Kiwi is spayed, current on shots, wormed, heartworm-negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention and flea control. She is also microchipped. Our $150 adoption fee helps cover the cost of Kiwi's vet visit. If you are ready to adopt a little princess to pamper, Kiwi is definitely up for it. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiwi, a Carrollton Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
