ROCKY's Story...
ATTENTION! UPDATE 5/16/13: Rocky has been with us a while and is becoming much more relaxed. He loves to have his tummy rubs. He goes for long walks with other doggie on split lead, and comes back to the Bowser Boutique for a relaxing rest. He likes other dogs and is loving and loyal. ROCKY needs a forever home. He is absolutely ready, and has a great smile after his full $500 dental. He is a sweet and adorable little guy, but with an edge. So we’re looking for the perfect home for this charming and comical fellow. First, he needs a Mommy, and further, to be your one and only. No other dogs. He is afraid of men, although when he does gain your trust he is so loyal and loving. He will be your one on one daily pal. He loves to read and work on the computer with his mommy, and to watch movies and go in the car. But, when guests come over he needs to be in his nicely sized 24x36" wire crate. He is afraid of "others" and needs his own safe place to be when you have company. It isn't a great flaw. Are you the perfect Mom for Rocky? =====His adoption fee is $295 and he'll be all up to date on his medical,. plus he'll go home with a basket of goodies, new collar and leash, custom made walking harness, blanket, toys and dog food.======

About Our Rescue Group...
Oregon Dachshund Rescue Inc. is a 501 c3 non profit with 25 years experience of rescuing Dachshunds. My goal is to provide homes for unwanted, special needs and abandoned Dachshunds. I do not breed or sell Dachshunds for a profit. I receive into rescue 1 to 3 doxies PER DAY. Before adoption all of my rescues are spayed and neutered, made current on rabies, DHPP, bordetella, fecal and dental if needed. The rescues are also groomed, nails done and one month Advantage treatment. I take great pride in finding wonderful forever homes for my rescue Dachshunds. My criteria is very strict because I want to insure the safety and future of each one of these very special rescues. I do not give refunds of any kind for any reason but will offer an exchange for another Dachshund, if you choose. The dog's character, health and physical condition represented by this Rescue is in good faith. The new owner(s) must agree to release, hold harmless and forever discharge Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. from any and all claims arising from adoption of any of our rescue Dachshunds.

Our Adoption Process...
