My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Solomon is only 6 years old, but he looked ancient when he arrived at AZBHR. He was very skinny, extremely dirty and smelly, with ticks hanging off his ears, and his eyes were red and swollen. He was immediately whisked off to our awesome Tucson vet and received lots of care and attention. One tooth had to be removed and he needed eye drops and ointment, he also received a much needed bath and mani/pedi. Already Solomon is doing better. He has a good appetite and is starting to gain weight, his eyes are improving and pretty soon his coat should be glossy and shiny. Solomon is very grateful for the attention and always does his best to please. He has a wonderful basset aroooo that he uses when you come home and will do a little dance when it’s mealtime. He has learned to use the doggie door and is enjoying having a nice soft bed to climb on to and snooze. Solomon is very good in the car and enjoys trips to the dog park where he is sociable with people and dogs large and small. Get your application in now – when we get new pictures of him in a few weeks there will be a stampede for this handsome and loving boy.
