Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jordie aka Shortie entered rescue because he has Demodex mange that requires extensive treatment and his owners simply couldn't afford it. He's doing much much better, but he will require on-going treatment for some time yet, possibly for several months. Demodex is can NOT be spread to other pets or people! Now that his hair is growing out, we can see the handsome dog he's destined to be. He's very friendly and active, so he would do best in a home where he gets lots of exercise. In short...he needs a JOB! He's working on his housetraining, but is coming along nicely. He's great with other dogs, kids, and cats.
The cost of Jordie's next 3-4 months of treatment will be covered through a grant from Corgi Aide. We've reduced his adoption fee, now that he's ready for his forever home.
