Milo*'s Story...
CT: This gorgeous, sweetheart of a dog is in the shelter for the worst of reasons. Well, they're all bad, but this one is among them: The owner was moving to a place that wouldn't allow him to take his fantastic 2 year old, 72 pound friend with him. We know that his weight makes him a harder-to-place dog than if he had a little miniature poodle in him (which he surely doe not), but his size echos the size of his heart and his general stateliness. He is housetrained so beautifully, and he's just great on a leash. We can't recommend Milo highly enough!! If you are interested in this dog, please contact Christine at bbr.fostercare@gmail.com. Adoption application, references, and home visit required.Adoption fee is $200.
*Our dogs are in foster homes, please contact us for more info on each dogs specific location!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo*, a Trucksville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Trucksville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Trucksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trucksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trucksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trucksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
