Data's Story...
*** ADOPTION PENDING ***

Named for a Star Trek character, Data was found running the streets by a friendly vet tech. The little guy had apparently been out for some time as he was skinny, dirty, and extremely demanding of the vet tech's attention! The tech took him to his veterinary hospital where Data stayed for the obligatory two weeks. AFter exhaustive efforts to find Data's owner and some veterinary attention, NLOL was contacted about the possibility of finding Data a new forever home. Luckily, we had a place for him to stay and everything worked out!

Data doesn't seem to have suffered from his time on the streets at all. He's taken very well to the routine of his playcare boarding facility and LOVES to romp and play with the other dogs! NLOL will be seeking a home where Data can receive the extra care, attention and training that all dogs, especially puppies, deserve.

Please contact us for more info or to foster/adopt little Data!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Data, a Chicago Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
