Duke's Story...
"Duke" is just the sweetest and silliest boy ever! His size fooled us; he is only six months old but is going to be a big boy. This dog loves to be loved. When you scratch his ears, he literally melts into your leg. He is definitely a "leaner". He knows how to sit and is learning down. He is also learning how to walk nicely on a leash. This is a smart boy and with some training he will be an awesome addition to any family. "Duke" does not like the kennel and gets depressed when he has to go back into his run. Please call soon if you would like to meet this fantastic dog! 860-344-3298

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Middletown Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
