More Info:
Bentley is approximately 10 months old and is a very striking chocolate Labrador Retriever mix. Bentley was rescued from a busy street where his sister had already been hit by a car. Bentley was devoted to his sister and would not leave her side until a kind person came to their aid. His sister has been adopted and now Bentley is waiting patiently for his turn to find a fantastic home. Bentley currently lives in a foster home with another foster and three resident dogs. Bentley plays well with everyone and pretty much falls in love with all dogs.

Bentley loves toys and will entertain himself playing for hours. Bentley is a high energy dog and with legs up to his ears he can run like a race horse and would make a great running partner. Bentley would really enjoy another dog to keep him company when you are away. Bentley is a very sweet and happy guy.

Bentley is housetrained. He loves to run in the yard for short periods and then he is ready to be with you in the house. He can easily relax in the evenings to play with you or his toys.

Bentley is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Houston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
