Khloe's Story...
March 28, 2010
About a week ago 7 puppies were dumped out in the woods. 4 were found by a good samaritan and brought to our shelter and we picked up the other 3 that were brought in to our local county shelter. 4 puppies have since been adopted so now there are 3 left that are waiting for a home. Khloe and her sister Posey are the only 2 females left, she is up to date on all his shots, has been wormed, is on flea and tick preventative and heart worm preventative. Khloe has also been spayed and micro chipped. Khloe is a parvo survivor.
Her adoption fee is $50.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Khloe, a Irvington Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Irvington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Irvington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvington paves the way for another one to be saved.
