My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus is almost one year old. He's a lab/boxer mix and is a super dog! In addition to being very cute with that adorable turned up nose, he is very in tune with his people and loves to be with them. He is gentle and obedient and loves everybody! He even play bows the cats! He is wonderful with children and loves to toss and chase balls!
Gus was found with his brother as pups. They had been put in a box and dumped in a swamp behind a college dormitory. Some students took the pups in but could not keep them permanently and Gus went to live with a family that hoped to keep him, but their son was allergic so Gus had to live outside most of the time. It broke this family’s heart to not be able to keep him inside so they knew it would be best to find him a new forever home. We are the fortunate ones to now have Gus with us. We just can’t say enough how wonderful he is! Please come meet him and you will most likely fall in love as we have.
Gus weighs 52 lbs. His sleek black coat is very easy to manage and is low shedding. He walks wonderfully on leash and is an extremely friendly fellow, sure to be the hit of the neighborhood.
He has been neutered, is crate trained and housebroken, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
