Tweetie is a female cockatiel and is approximately 17 years old. Tango is a male and is about 12 years old. Both are VERY SWEET. Their last owner was a lady who they'd been with for the last 15 years. That is most likely why Tweetie seeks the company of females but Tango goes to most anyone. He is a great whistler and can even whistle "Revelie", he also says a few thing like: "mama loves Tango", "it's a pretty bird" and does the wolf whistle. He loves having his head scratched and is friendly with most people upon first meeting them. Tweetie is such a sweetheart. Once she warms up and knows you she will sit in your cupped hands and let you scratch under her wings and on her head. Both birds love to get misted with a water bottle and will hang upside down and spread their wings in enjoyment. They like to eat their pellets and seed, millet, corn on the cob, broccoli and rice, cheerios, apples and an occasional animal cracker. They are ready and waiting for someone who can devote a lot of love and time to them!
