Charlie's Story...
Charlie is EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!!! Did I say excellent - I meant stupendous!!! Ok sorry I just got so excited because we can't believe how wonderful this dog is!! Charlie has his shots and is neutered and a good boy. He's very friendly but not at all hyper so he's a good house pup. He's calm, doesn't jump up or anything. Oh but there is one thing.. he will go up to anyone and lick their face... awwwww!! He just walks calmly by even when they are barking at him - what a doll. Charlie's maybe a year old if that. He does has one broken tooth and may need a root canal (ouch!!!), but we are taking care of that as well. Other than that he has pearly whites. Charlie almost looks blood houndish so that's why we consider him a hound/terrier mix. He has the flappy jaws and the cutest look on his face doncha think? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Freeport American Pit Bull Terrier/Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Bloodhound for sale in Freeport, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Bloodhound breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
