Cat's Story...
Cat is a looker to be sure and he is as smart and athletic as he looks. He is 8 yrs old, recently gelded. Approximately 14.2hh. Cat has had a rough few years but is well on his way back to his glory under the care of our dedicated veterinarian and our staff. Cat was bred for cutting and reigning and is of the Sandman lines. He is started under saddle and has good ground manners. He just needs to find that special someone who will bring him the rest of the way.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cat, a Pueblo Quarterhorse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Quarterhorse for sale in Pueblo, or seeking a Quarterhorse from a breeder in Pueblo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pueblo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pueblo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Quarterhorse breeders who help with Quarterhorse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pueblo paves the way for another one to be saved.
