Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can still provide this handsome and loving senior with the BEST YEARS of his life -- but it's important to act NOW, as this dog may be on borrowed time.
Poor Spice started out as part of the family but as life got busy, time was concentrated on other things but this poor boy was not one of them. He lived his life outside alone where he was left in the yard tied to the tree, his constant companion. He lived off table scraps when he was fed. He is rather thin and is a fussy eater as a result of his more gourmet cuisine. However, what he was lacking and craves most is loving companionship. Poor Spice had no mental stimulation and only the exercise that the rope length would provide. Now he wants family…
Nutritional balance and a lot of TLC will have this old boy up to snuff in no time. He will need a patient person who is willing to start him off at square one with training since he has not really had a lot of one on one and has spent his years outdoors. Old Spice is a very good and gentle boy and is very appreciative for any kindness that is given to him. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. What he is looking for is companionship in his golden years. A little love goes along way with older dogs and this kindly gent is no exception. I am sure that having a person on the other end of his lead would be a warming and welcome alternative to the tree that he grew up with. Give him a loving home and some TLC and he will give you his heart for the rest of his life. Life will be happier for everyone if you can find a place to add "Old Spice" back in your life!
