Jenny's Story...
What a cute kitty and so sweet. Jenny loves to be held and snuggled. She is about 7 weeks old and looks a lot like her brother Jeremy. She is quite brave and clever having already figured out how to scale the pet gate to be with the bigger resident kitties at her foster home and is not at all intimated by the 65 pound dog. She is litter box trained and eats dry and moist food. She should be old enough to be spayed on 9/10/2010 and then ready for her forever home. She will be at Petsmart on Sheperd after that. If you want to meet Jenny sooner, please contact her foster mom at x1961jab@msn.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a Houston Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
