Turbo's Story...
.Turbo is an active and inquisitive boy, but is super sweet! He was rescued from a rural shelter in Kentucky from death-row. Turbo is a bit shy upon intial introductions, but quickly warms up. He seems to enjoy the solitude of a crate or a cozy doghouse. Squeeky toys seem to scare him. He does well with other dogs. He is crate trained and walks well on leash. Turbo has a skin allergy...possibly flea related , that he is being treated for currently. He is a small boy 30 -40 lbs... 1-2 years old... vaccinated, neutered, wormed, and micro chipped. All he needs now is a loving forever home. If you are interested in this cutie, please email the rescue for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turbo, a Norwich Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Norwich, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Norwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
