Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Zoe
Breed: Woolley Siberian Husky
Sex: Female
Age: approx 6-8 years old
Level of blindness: 1 eye removed, other has corneal scarring (but seems to have some sight)
Cause of eye issues: Traumas to both eyes
Health issues: None to date
Weight: 43lbs.
Good with dogs: So far
Good with cats: Unknown
Good with kids: Unknown
Currently being fostered in: NJ, but we will arrange transport to an approved adopter.
Information:
Zoe is a petite wooly (long haired) Siberian Husky. She was pulled from a NJ shelter due to medical issues associated w/ her eye removal. The eye was removed due to a terrible trauma and resulting infection.
Zoe is a sweet girl that is learning to trust humans. She's listens when corrected, is being crate trained, and when feeling up to it, likes to play (she's currently convalescing). She's a bit food guardy, but that is being worked on. Zoe is starting to realize a human touch is nice and will rub against you for petting. Like typical Siberian fashion, she does like the idea of bolting and moving around, so if you are interested in her, please be aware of the running/escaping nature of Siberians.
Zoe is going to make someone very happy.
