Information:
Nikita is an almost 2 year old Siberian Husky. She lived in a home and was well loved, but unfortunately things changed, and they could no longer care for her. So BDRA was contacted, and took Nikita in.
She is very sweet. She listens and takes correction well. She is crate trained, though will try to cry at first. Once she realizes you’re not going to let her out, she settles right in. She likes to play and wrestle with the dogs in the foster home. She lived with a Chihuahua mix at her original home, and did well with him. Nikita loves to go for walks, and would probably be a good running companion. She is an energetic young dog, but does not have constant energy-she will play for a while, then rest. She lived with an infant and was good with the baby. She is also good with kids.
She is settling in here quickly, and is housebroken. She goes to the back door to let us know she needs to go out. She knows sit, down and paw.
She has seen an ophthalmologist and needs to have her right eye removed. She is blind in it, and increased pressures will cause her pain. So far, she appears to be a very nice dog, and someone will be very lucky to make her a member of their family.
UPDATE:
Nikita had her eye removed on August 4. She is doing great!! You wouldn't know she just had surgery. She doesn't mind her e-collar. She is still active and wants to play!
She is really a great Siberian Husky. She has a Sibe personality, but she listens well to commands!
She will be a great addition to someone's family.
