Howard's Story...
Howard has been in foster care since he was a few weeks old along with his feral mama and siblings since Spring 2009...he is the smartest cat I have ever known, clever and very curious and adventuresome...he especially likes chasing a laser light but when I stop he looks directly at the light and me, asking to play some more...he gets along well with cats and dogs and loves climb and run around playing with whoever is interested...Howard is not a lap kitty but does love attention on his own terms...he is a lot of fun to watch and would make another kitty a wonderful playmate...Howard is fully vetted and ready for a new "forever" home...if you are interested in meeting Howard, contact Lynne at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howard, a Little Rock Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Little Rock, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Little Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Little Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Little Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Little Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
