What a cutie this little thing is! Bitsy was rescued by the founder of StCR at a Shell gas station in Round Rock. She was found eating a chicken bone. By the time the gas was done pumping, Bitsy was already in the trap, a bit shy but very tame. She has blossomed now into a cat who loves to play, and loves affection. Bitsy is still a bit shy with new people and surroundings, but will quickly acclimate. She needs a place to call home.

About Street Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I founded Street Cat Rescue almost ten years ago, after TNR'ing (trap-neuter-return) some cats at my work. I began to take in kittens and nice cats that we would find, and help them have a second chance by adopting out. We provide shelter and food for over a 100 cats daily that are TNR'd. I love what I do and am proud of the work we have done to date. We have helped over 600 cats to date. We also help the sick and injured living on the streets that have no one to help them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are at the Petsmart at Balcones Woods/183 almost every saturday from 11am-4pm.. Adoption times/places can also be seen on our website - home page.

We have periodic adoption events throughout the year at various places.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee varies, depending on age and health. All cats are combo tested for FELV/FIV, spayed/neutered/vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and more. We do have all adopters sign a contract.

We do a home visit and a vet reference check and have guidelines in adopting out our cats. (criteria). We ensure each cat is placed in the best home/match possible.
