Here's what the humans have to say about me:

9/15/10: Wade is now in Maine and his foster mom reports that he is getting used to being in his new environment. He has met some neighborhood dogs and has done well with them. He happily and eagerly greets everyone that he meets. He wrestles a lot with his sister, Angel, who is also in the foster home. He does seem to want to chase cats he sees at a distance, so maybe a feline-free home would be best, but this will be updated as his foster mom observes his behavior with them.

8/29/10: Sweet Wade is a handsome Labrador mix who is approximately 2-1/2 years old and weighs about 50 lb. Wade and his sister Angel were adopted from a shelter in Texas and their former owner did not allow them in the house and they were kept in a wire kennel with tarp over it in the yard. Our rescue partner in Texas says that sadly, Wade has no idea what a toy is. Through all of this, he is a friendly boy and loves people.

Our rescue partner in Texas tells us that Wade is gentle and good with children. He knows "sit" and "shake".
