Jezebel's Story...
We rescued Jezebel as she was being dumped by her former family at the South L.A. animal pound. Jezebel thought she was going on a vacation and even as she was being handed over by those people, she wagged her tail the whole time. Even as the steel cage closed in on her, she wagged her beautiful tail along the steel cage reverberating the entire hallway. I went over to her as she licked my face between the cold, steel bars. Her people couldn't care any less. We promised we would save her and we did. We now have Jezebel in boarding while she awaits her forever home. The situation is not ideal, as she lives in a run at the moment, although it's definitely better than where she came from. We are looking for a foster or of course, forever home for Jezebel. We think she is about 2 years old. She is very calm, sweet, and loving. She loves toys and keeps herself occupied with them, as she is quite intelligent! She is good with other dogs, ignores cats, and great with people. Please give Jezebel a chance. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jezebel, a Valley Village Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Valley Village, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Valley Village.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Village already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Village breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Village paves the way for another one to be saved.
