P.J.'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

P.J.'s Story...
**Adoption Donation only $150** P.J. was next in line for the gas chamber at a high-kill facility in Alabama and had given up hope. Now he is with MBR and is remembering how nice belly rubs are! PJ wants SO badly to be loved - he's just a little timid but he's coming out of his shell a little more each day. He is current on his vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped, He's a little guy, weighing in at only 10-12 lbs. P.J. is around 2-3 years old. PJ would probably do best in a quieter home with a little bit older children (little kids & their squeals & quick movements might scare him). PJ gets along very well with other dogs & cats. Help him recover fully and trust again and you will have a faithful friend for life! For an application, please visit our website: www.midwestbloodhoundrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

P.J., a Franklin Grove Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Chihuahua for sale in Franklin Grove, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Franklin Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
