Sugarplum 8 months old VIDEO's Story...

Super sweet 8 month, 8-pound girl who is URGENT at the shelter. Check out her adorable video above! "This little girl, has no name, but I think she should be called Sugarplum because she was insanely sweet. Seems to like women best. We took her out for a walk and she just wanted to curl up to me and roll around to have her belly rubbed. That's why it was hard to shoot the video she kept climbing on my lap! When we put her back in her cage she clung to me. She is so precious and will be a great little love bug to her new family." - shelter volunteer

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugarplum 8 months old VIDEO, a LA Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in LA, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in LA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LA paves the way for another one to be saved.
