Here's what the humans have to say about me:
9/1/10: Meet Rusty! Rusty is a sweet little Dachshund who is 7 years old. His beloved owner recently passed away and unfortunately no one in the family is able to take him at this time.
Rusty has been tested is heartworm negative. He is housetrained and crate trained. He has excellent house manners, and can be left free to roam the home without getting into mischief.
We know that Rusty has been around male dogs, and is currently best buddies with one in his household. He has not been around female dogs very much, however. He currently is living with cats and chased them at first, but now has calmed down now.
Please visit our website to find out more about our adoption process. We would love to find Rusty a loving foster or forever home that he deserves! Our adoption fee for seniors (7 and up) is $250. Rusty may be 7, but he has many years ahead of him and will make some lucky person a wonderful pet!
