Higgins is a Yorkshire Terrier male, approx. 1.75 years old & weighs about 9-10 lbs. Happy, friendly, energetic, sweet, good-natured, loving & devoted...describe this darling Yorkie boy. He gets along great with other small dogs & would be happiest in a home with at least 1 other small or medium size K9 friend who is young & likes to play like he does. He loves his humans & is affectionate. He enjoys going for walks & riding in the car. Higgins is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, & dewormed. He's just had fecal & heartworm tests (negative), along with having his remaining puppy teeth removed by our vet. He's ready for his own forever family. He would be a good dog for a family with children who have animal experience & know how to properly treat a small dog or an active all adult home. If you can give Higgins the kind of home he needs, please review our
Adoption Guidelines (click on the underlined words). If you qualify to adopt from us, you can then complete an Application (found at the end of our Adoption Guidelines). Higgins' adoption donation is $450 & includes his microchip registration. We rescued Higgins from a So. CA shelter where he was going to be placed on their euthanasia list to make room for incoming dogs. He's a wonderful dog & his forever family will be very happy to have him as part of the family. Thanks for choosing to adopt!
