My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marshmallow! This pretty gray & cream girl has brown eyes. She is an Alaskan Malamute mix. She has a strong personality but good with a strong male or as only dog. Marshmallow is housebroken and always has a smile on her face. If you are interested in meeting Marshmallow please go to www.huskycamp.com and fill out an online application.

*****Please remember only the "HUSKY CAMP dogs" will be at the adoption events, and filling out an application by no means ensures this dog will be reserved, as it is first come with the best home for each dog. Please remember to fill out an application if planning on attending the event. Contact Husky Camp directly with any questions, and one of the volunteers will be happy to get back to you. ************At time of adoption there will be an adoption fee to continue the fight in saving lives. With our adoption fee we are able to pull more rescues from the shelter, spay and neuter, vaccinated, microchip, pay for food, and other needed supplies for our foster dogs. ***************

Huskies make great family pals, and love the companionship of other canines medium to xlarge size. They are a pack animal and consider there humans part of their pack. Because of this they truly enjoy being with there humans and canine friends. They are a fun, happy and active breed that promises to make you laugh and keep you smiling. As with any canines they need love and attention to be happy. This breed was born to run, and can be an escape artist easily scaling 6ft fences or finding the one weak spot in your yard. The Siberian Husky can NEVER be trusted off leash or in an ungated area for this reason. Many Huskies are hit by cars, stolen for their beauty, or lost and never returned. Please keep your Siberian Husky leashed and safe, and add needed locks to gates. They’re counting on you! Please read up on the breed to educate yourself, or contact rescue for advice on your new canine friend AFT E R adopting. Rescue volunteers will always be there to help you! Please note when adopting a Husky from the shelter – this breed is not cat friendly. If you have a cat please make sure it IS cat friendly.
