Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bella's Story...
Bella is pure sweetness and joy--she is truly happy to just be alive. She came from the shelter matted and neglected but happy and trusting none-the-less. She prances everywhere she goes. She is something to watch. Bella does have dry eyes so we need to put drops/ointment in her eyes at least three times a day to keep them moist (she will need eye drops for the rest of her life. She is so easy and cooperative, she just sits there and lets you do whatever, so it is not a struggle putting them in. She is great with other dogs and cats and loves everyone. She is about four years old and weighs 8-9 pounds.

All of our dogs can be seen by appointment with an approved application, so please e-mail us for one at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a El Segundo Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
