THIS IS THOR....a giant of a personality in a very small package! This 6.5 lb, 2 yr old, cream colored Maltese Pomeranian couldn't have a better temperament if he tried! He is mighty in loveable though petite in size!!! Thor was dumped at one of the highest kill shelters in So CA -- San Bernardino Devore. We were told that he was a Lhasa Apso....but his picture looked like he might be a little Lhasa/Peke mix. Much to our surprise, when our rescue friend Patti picked him up....he was only about 6.5 lbs! No Lhasa in this boy!! We are still dumbfounded that he wasn't snatched up the first day!!! Thor is a very small, cutie patootie.... whatever he is!! He is curious, funny, happy-go-lucky and loving! Once he knows you, he will shower you with kisses! He fluffs around like a cotton ball.... investigating and interested in everything! He will bark for your attention -- as he does not like being ignored, and he will let you know! But he is not a constant yapper! He would be best suited in a home where there is another dog for him as a companion and possible playmate...although he can also be independent! He definitely would not stand for being left alone and while he will bark when you first leave in any case, he does settle down pretty quickly. Thor is so small, he could easily be your constant companion and go with you everywhere. He seems to be potty trained, but no promises!! He just arrived, so we'll update you as we learn more about him! Without question, Thor is a winner....don't let this little guy get away! SoCA adoption only.
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
