Harley (Courtesy Listing)'s Story...
Harley is a 10-month old female. Reported to be a malamute mix that weighs about 65lbs now, maybe a few more since her last vet visit.

Her mom says: Her birthday is 10/19/09. She REALLY needs to be in a home with bigger dogs/older children. She's been raised around small dogs/cats and we have a new baby, but I think she is just too unaware of her size to be safe around anything except larger animals. She is kennel trained (sleeps in a kennel at night) and house broken, though she still has the occasional issue with submissive urination. She runs with me on her leash but she still needs a little practice with that. She absolutely LOVES playing in water and digging holes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley (Courtesy Listing), a Phoenix/Tucson Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Phoenix/Tucson, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Phoenix/Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix/Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix/Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix/Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
