Serena's Story...
Hi, I'm Serena

Are you a cat lover? My sister and I are a dream come true. My name is Serena and I'm a very special feline. To start with I'm beautiful and I have a sister that's beautiful too. My fur is soft as a bunny rabbit and though it's black, in the sunshine I look like dark chocolate. I'm a young girl, a little over a year old and weigh about twelve pounds. I have a cute white spot on my belly, which you can see often as I love belly rubs. I'm spayed and current on all of my shots. If you've read Leyla's biography you know that we were RAIN kitties from the earliest of days. We were found on the side of the road and lovingly bottle fed by a RAIN volunteer. In December we thought we hit the jackpot, both Leyla and I were adopted together by a nice family. Unfortunately we had to be returned, due to an illness in the family. We hope that lady luck will be on our side again and we will find another wonderful home. I am very bonded to people and cannot get enough of them. I will sleep with you, cuddle with you and generally just love you until you can't take it anymore. I just have a wonderful, confident personality and get along well with other cats and friendly dogs. I am very curious/interested in water and you will often find my furry little paws in the dog's water dish. As you can tell from both my biography and Leyla's too, we are just two, sweet, intelligent interactive felines looking for a special place to call home. (JDel)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Sacramento Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
