Leyla's Story...
Hi, my name is Leyla,

Cat lovers, where are you? My sister and I are a pair of extraordinary felines patiently waiting for our forever home. My name is Leyla and I'm a beautiful girl. I have soft black fur and bright amber eyes. I weigh about ten pounds and am a little over a year old. I'm spayed, of course, and am current on all my shots. I've been a RAIN kitty from my earliest days. I was lovingly bottle fed as a kitten by a RAIN volunteer along with my three siblings. My two sisters were adopted together by a great couple and I was adopted along with my sister Leyla, to a nice family. Unfortunately there was an illness in our family and both my sister and I were returned to RAIN. We are again looking for a wonderful, forever home. I'm just a sweetheart who is very bonded to people. I have such a friendly disposition, that I also get along well with other cats and don't even mind a gentle dog. I live with kids, cats and a dog at my foster home and I enjoy them all. I enjoy being brushed and I like to cuddle and have my belly rubbed. I also enjoy water and can't keep my furry paws out of the dog's water dish. Do my sister and I sound like your kind of felines? Come see us out at adoptions or send RAIN an email so you can learn more about us. (JDel)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leyla, a Sacramento Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
