My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 10/08/11 Due to unfortunate life events, Quincy has returned to United Yorkie
Rescue. Quincy is a very outgoing little man, that is full of love and
full of life. He wanted to let you know the perfect home for him is
going to have a fence with a big yard so he can run free (and use of
some of his energy), a stay at home parent (for there are some anxiety
issues), and he would like a furbrother or fursister.

Quincy had a rough start in his life, having been found as a small
puppy in the streets, and needs to have some stability. He is great
around children and other dogs and obviously loves the attention he
gets from his humans. Quincy does warm up quickly to new surroundings.
He is 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 7 lbs. He is current on all
his medical requirements, i.e. shots, microchipped, dental and is
ready to go. If you think you are the one for Quincy, please contact
us.
UPDATED BIO 09/12/2010: Quincy is an adorable 1 year old 5 lb little boy who is being fostered in Largo, FL. He waited patiently for his foster fur-sister, Evie, to finish her update. Now he's borrowing his foster mom's computer to send you a little update!

"Quincy here! I wanted to give you a few updates on what foster mom has learned about me this past week. WALKING IS FUN!! WOW! Getting out and seeing the world is really great and I LIKE meeting and greeting other dogs and people. So far I haven't met a stranger, and I do like those other dogs, big, small it makes no difference to me. They all know they can play with me, because I will put out the alarm when I see them that I am on my way! WAIT FOR ME, I'M COMING!!!

Ok... so it's not all good. After all, I am a puppy. I still have a little separation anxiety and will bark a little bit when you leave (but I do quiet down quickly). I still like to chew on things if you don't keep me occupied. Just give me a bully stick or a squeaky toy, please! I do love to play (did I mention that?) I keep myself busy most of the time, but do become bored easily."

Foster Mom here to say Quincy is a happy, healthy little boy. He really didn't require any warm up time to fit in with the family. I think it took all of 5 minutes. I have walked him to see how he would respond, and he does like to get out and move. I took him over to some kids to see how he would do. He sat down in the middle of them and let everyone pet and make a fuss over him. If you are a family with another pet in the house, he is the one for you. I don't know how he is around cats as I don't have one. He's just a doll and would love an active home!

Quincy here to say I really need to be somewhere to settle in furever, so put in an application FOR ME =-)

UPDATED BIO 09-05-2010: MEET QUINCY! He is a very sweet yorkie mix who is approximately 1 y/o and weighs only 5#. Quincy is being fostered in Largo, FL. Here's what Quincy had to say today about how he is doing:

Hi everypuppy, Quincy here! I just wanted to let you know I made a quick move this weekend and am now in somewhere called Largo, Fl. It's going to be a couple of days before I can really tell you what I think of all this, but I know I have a new foster sister that we have already decided, WE LIKE TO PLAY!!!! There's a new foster brother here that just follows me around with this silly grin on his face and wagging his tail. So when we know more about each other I'll be letting you know, xoxoxox Quincy

He is housetrained and loves to be with his person.....please check this space frequently for updates on Quincy. He is being fostered in Ft. Myers, FL.
