My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tuffy was born 12/22/05, he is almost 5 months old. He is a rough and tumble basset boy that loves to play. He lives with four other bassets that he tires out each day. He goes from one to the next until they are all pooped out. He loves dog toys - especially anything that squeaks. He rides well in the car, but prefers the front seat! He is leashed trained, as long as he is walking himself - he still zigs and zags, but in a forward motion.

He is almost doggie door trained, but still has occasional accidents. He has not had any potty training that didn't involve the use of the doggie door. Therefore will need additional potty training, if a doggie door is not available. Tuffy is scheduled to be neutered the first week of June and receive his final shots.

TUFFY IS A PUPPY, THEREFORE VERY ACTIVE AND PLAYFUL!! He was named Tuffy because he is tough. He stands up for himself and isn't afraid of anything. He will do best in a house that has other dogs, kids, etc... that can keep him out of trouble. He is a sweet boy and makes his foster mom smile everyday.
