Tucker's Story...
Tucker(male)

Hi! My name is Tucker and I am a sweet male, dark yellow dog. Haylee found me abandoned in a restaurant parking lot and took me home with her. She cleaned me up and took me to the vet, where I received my shots, flea treatment, and was de-wormed. The vet says that I could be anywhere from 6 to 12 months old.

I am extremely sweet natured. I love going for walks, car rides, and chasing my soccer ball. I stay very close whenever I don't have a leash on, but prefer to walk with a leash for safety reasons. Although I'm very playful because I'm still a puppy, I am also happy just hanging out. I weigh about 55 pounds, I am not fixed, and I am up-to-date on my shots. If you're looking for a great dog, look no further because I know you'll be pleased with me!

If you would like to meet me, please call Haylee at 318-840-8426 or email me at mitchell.haylee@gmail.com. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is $30 (which will be donated to Pet Savers), plus you'll get a low-cost unpaid voucher to get me spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Haughton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
