Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Matilda was rescued from a feral colony in Mears, MI. She was the only tame cat out of eighteen.
According to the kind woman who cares for the cats, she was one of the original cats, and had many litters before we came in to help fix everyone.
Matilda seems so relieved once she was in our care and spayed, like she could finally relax and just be a cat, without having constant litters and braving harsh winters outside.
She is very sweet and mellow and would make a great lap cat.
Our Adoptable Kittens ARE NOT FERAL. We take them from the streets at a young age, and most are feral at the time of rescue. However we spend many hours taming, socializing, and acclimating them to indoor life as a pet cat. They are currently friendly, healthy, and playful kittens who are just waiting for their special someone to take them home.
All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites. The Adoption Fee is $85 and also get two kittens for $125!
If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, please download an Adoption Application from our website at www.focusonferals.org, and email it to crazyforferals@yahoo.com, or mail it to PO Box is 372, Lowell MI 49331.
