Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petunia – female, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, spayed, heartworm tested (-), dewormed, tx flea preventative, ~3yr, ~15lbs (over weight), Min Pin.
Petunia was left at a shelter as a “stray” but we can easily tell by her mid section (or lack there of!) that someone has been spoiling her. She likely ended up at the pound due to a situation beyond control of her owner.
Petunia is outgoing and curious, sweet and cuddly. She is good with other dogs, cats and respectful kids however due to her small size we prefer a home with no children under 10yrs. Petunia is rather over weight for her size and breed. While in foster care she has been on a diet and been exercising regularly and doing well. She loves her walks and has a blast at the dog parks, right now she goes for a few walks a day and visits the dog park once a week. She is calm, clean and quiet in the home. Petunia can be a little bossy with other dogs but generally gets along with everyone, she also currently lives with a cat. Petunia’s new owners will need to continue to work to have her loose weight with exercise, restricted diet and no extras! She is a happy go lucky, peppy girl who needs a some what firm but loving owner. She loves to go for walks or cuddle on the couch, she is good in the car but needs a little help getting up and down. Petunia is crate trained and house trained. She sleeps in her crate at night and should continue until she is familiar with her new family and new routine. She rarely barks and would be suitable for house or apartment living.
