MATTY's Story...
A few weeks ago when I came to the Blue Moon Cat Shelter all the way from Ozark, Missouri, I had a nice ride here in my shelter daddy's pickup truck. He turned on the air conditioning for us and even went through the drive-thru at McDonalds and treated us to some fries and an ice cream cone. Then I got to the shelter and my new mommy wanted to give me flying lessons. But after having that ice cream cone and those fries, I just didn't feel I could get off the ground. Maybe after I'm done with my piano lessons, I'll learn to fly. I'm about 5 months old, been spayed and given my 3-in-1 vaccination so I don't get sick. If you want to adopt a white kitty with a few black racing stripes on my head and a black tail for only $55, give me a call at 479-677-3021. Just don't expect me to fly to my new home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MATTY, a Witter Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Witter, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Witter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Witter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Witter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Witter paves the way for another one to be saved.
